PROJECT
To ensure the continuous and effective operation of existing CCTV systems for a national retailer with more than 1,000 stores across the UK.
CONSIDERATIONS
Over a number of years a wide range of different technologies and manufacturer equipment had been installed by different companies, making the CCTV system in each store almost unique.
Some systems were recently installed with valid warranties but from a variety of manufacturers. Other systems were aged with risk of failure. Regardless of each system's robustness, operational continuity was crucial.
SOLUTION
Stillframe developed a bespoke maintenance and service contract with a number of key elements. It guaranteed a timed response to all calls, ranging from 24 hours to five working days with an associated price structure.
To make each site visit effective an asset register of site equipment, activity and warranties was created. Replacement or back-up equipment can be taken on first visit, ensuring rapid return of the system to operation.
Based on analysis of site and equipment history a programme of preventative site visits has
been drawn up. Processes for customer communication and approval of works have been drawn up.
